Visitors to the unique protected area of Ol Pejeta Conservancy can directly help preserve wildlife. Apart from the last two northern white rhinos and the Big Five, it helps nearby towns with health campaigns and education.
Run an amazing five- to seven-kilometer run on the Ol Pejeta plains with armed rangers. This one-of-a-kind adventure will let you experience what it’s like to train as a ranger and inspire great respect for their commitment and responsibilities. At Ol Pejeta, this is among the most amazing wildlife encounters present.
The run takes place on mild terrain in the cool of the morning and offers an opportunity to see a range of species, including rhinos and elephants. You are in good hands, thanks to the trained rangers looking after you at every stage. There will be a support vehicle close by to carry your equipment—or you, if needed. Should you become fatigued, you can stop as the rangers do push-ups around you!
One needs physical fitness for this activity. Runners should be able to cover at least five kilometers without stopping.
Your safari at Ol Pejeta offers an opportunity to help wildlife, not only a trip. Here, you will be involved in actual conservation efforts and help to create lasting change even after you depart.
While the scenery is amazing, this program requires a minimum ability to run 5 km without stopping. It's best suited for those in good physical condition.
Absolutely! You'll be accompanied by experienced armed rangers throughout the run.
